The M4 Advanced Carbine (M4AC) is a backwards-compatible, next generation variant of the M4A1.
Conserving parts commonality with the M4A1, the M4AC adds warfighter capability including next-gen materials and coatings, a free float IR device-compatible handguard, and an extended gas system that improves service life and reliability in adverse conditions.
